Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Washington D.C. - September 28, 2010 - Opening the mailbox to see a large envelope full of exciting activities, classes, and opportunities is a highlight for most high school seniors.  Realizing that the average cost of a 4-year college education in America is $29,915 is probably not.  While more and more high school students are setting their sights on higher education, parents and students must figure out how to finance their dreams.

On October 31, 2010, come dressed in your very best to support The Phi Sigma Pi, Alpha Tau Chapter Endowment Fund, Inc. (“The Endowment Fund”) in their efforts to raise money for high school seniors from Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.  The Endowment Fund will host their 2nd Annual Family Reunion Brunch at Phillip’s Flagship Restaurant on the Waterfront in Washington D.C beginning at 11 am.

To date, The Endowment Fund has given over $3500 in scholarship money.  This brunch is the marquee fundraiser the organization holds and will help to determine the number of scholarships awarded in 2011. The family friendly brunch will feature an extensive buffet and several chances to win exciting prizes.  Last year’s event attendees won autographed Washington Redskins apparel, designer handbags, jewelry, and custom artwork.
