Legally Blind Ventilator-Dependent Quadriplegic Publishes First Picture Book

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Klutzy Kantor, a picture book by J. Aday Kennedy was be released by Guardian Angel Publishing on April 14, 2010.

In 1998, J. Aday Kennedy caught pnuemococcal spinal meningitis. Due to complications, she endured a brainstem stroke. Three days later the doctors pronounced her brain dead. Two hours following the pronouncement she became conscious.

She retained the ability to move her eyes and nothing else. She was a ventilator-dependent quadriplegic. After several years, long hours of therapy and much prayer, she regained partial use of her left arm and hand. She pecks out her stories with faith and thankfulness. “With God all things are possible,” she says.

J. Aday Kennedy lives in Mineola, Texas. She is an award winning multi published author. Her published work for adults includes inspirational and Christian essays and articles in magazines and the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies. She won two Honorable Mentions in the Writer’s Digest 76th annual competition among 1900 entrants.

Like Aday, Klutzy Kantor, the riddle-solving, klutzy Pegasus, is not afraid of facing adversity. He flies to a rainbow and challenges a tricky leprechaun to a mental duel.  If he solves Cobbledom Leprechaun’s riddle, the leprechaun will end Kantor’s klutzy ways. Klutzy Kantor uses his mental muscles to seek a solution to his clumsiness problem.
