Leading Women & LGC&D Present Fall Leadership Breakfast Series - "Levers to Advance Your Career"

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND  – At Leading Women, programming is based the importance of developing strong business acumen, financial acumen and strategic relationships. Throughout Leading Women’s Fall Leadership Breakfast Series which is sponsored by LGC&D, guest speakers will discuss how they have strategically "pulled levers" to fuel their leadership development and career advancement.

On October 14th, Leading Women welcomes Susan Keller, corporate partner at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP., a national law firm focusing principally on private equity, financial services and technology. Keller specializes in venture capital, provides counsel to women business owners and women entrepreneurs, advises on private equity funds and structuring investments and has extensive expertise in the area of finance.

Keller is the founder and chair of the Women's Networking Group at Edwards & Angell. She has been recognized as an outstanding woman business leader and community volunteer.

On November 18th, Leading Women welcomes Dorothy Coleman, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI. Coleman is helping to transform healthcare in Rhode Island by strategically managing medical expenses, which will moderate healthcare costs over the long-term for our members and employers. She is responsible for all aspects of financial operations for BCBSRI and oversees Finance Operations, Sales, Strategic Sourcing, Contracting Services, and Statistical, Actuarial, and Underwriting Services.
