Masterclass in Learning Technologies a Success for Aurion Learning

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- The event, which was hosted by Belfast based company Aurion Learning, was the first in a series of Masterclass events planned by the award winning online learning solutions provider.

Hugh McPoland, Director of HR & Corporate Services of Business Services Organisation (BSO) kicked off proceedings with a motivating opening address. Other speakers included Pat Kenny, E-Learning Project Manager, Health Services Executive (HSE); Pip Hardy, Patient Voices, Pilgrim Projects; Dr. Maureen Murphy, Aurion Learning; Liam Butler, Net Dimensions; and Glynn Jung, Learning Light.

Topics discussed included: how to deliver learning and development with shrinking budgets; making online learning work in the health sector; using learning technologies to build internal capabilities; using patient stories for learning; and choosing a learning management system.
