Football Trade Directory appoint Business Development Manager

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Sportsglobal (UK) Ltd is delighted to welcome Jerry Carter to the company as Business Development Manager, focusing on helping the rapid expansion of www.footballtradedirectory.com in the London area and the South East of England.  

Jerry brings to the company a wealth of experience in UK football.  He is well known in The Football League and Football Conference circles with a career spanning the last 20 years from Commercial Manager with Wimbledon, several years as Commercial Director at his home town club Colchester United as well as in West London with Brentford and Gillingham in the Championship. Further consultancy roles have included Operations/Commercial Manager of two clubs.

Most recently Jerry had a senior role with one of the UK’s leading kit suppliers and was a major influence in raising the brand’s profile. Only last season Jerry worked closely with the supply of kit to 25 professional clubs spanning the Premier League, Football League, Football Conference as well as the Scottish Football League.

Jerry’s experience perfectly complements the aims of the Football Trade Directory to influence new partnerships, bringing together football clubs with companies looking to supply the football business community
