Fourth asiaSpa India Awards

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- As one of the most anticipated events in Asia's spa calendar, spas, their owners and therapists, designers and spa managers are already impatient to find out who will be walking away with the most coveted asiaSpa Awards 2010 trophies.
The 2009 awards ceremony held at The ITC Maurya- the Luxury Collection, New Delhi was attended by the who’s who from the Indian wellness and travel industry, including high level corporates, Bollywood celebrities and personalities from the fashion world who graced the occasion. The guest list had actor Sushmita Sen with brother Rajeev Sen, ARjun Rampal, Mohd. Azharuddin & Sangeeta Bijlani, Dr Vishwanathan Reddy, Karnataka Toursism, Mr Philip, Pevonia US, Sujit Banerjee, Secretary MOT, GOI, actor Chitrangada Singh, Rahul Dev, Ramola Bachchan, Sangeeta Assomull, Shireen Paul, Kalyani Chawla, Anjali Chawla, Raseel & Navin Ansal, Kanchan Kapoor, Sunil Sethi, Niketan Madhok amongst others.
The evening was high on entertainment quotient with scintillating performances by renowned artists like Raghav Sachar and legendary folk artist Teejan Bai, Padma Vibhushan. The evening culminated with a fashion show by Anjalee & Anjali Kapoor of their resort wear which was adorned by socialites & artists like Sonu Wassan, Mehar Bhasin, Kanchan Kapoor, Bianca Peralta, Jaya Dixit Peralta and few others.
There were 24 award categories with 74 nominations. The award process is validated by reputed audit firm Grant Thornton to ensure that it is held in a trustworthy and transparent manner.
