HPNG Announces Al Torres, VP, Talent & Diversity, Verizon, As Speaker For September Event

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- New York, N.Y. – The Hispanic Professionals Networking Group (HPNG) announces Alfred J. Torres as their guest speaker at this month’s networking event.

Al Torres is a global leader who creates a performance focused and inclusive culture. He is currently Vice President - Talent Management & Diversity for Verizon Telecom & Business. In this role, he is responsible for leading and executing on global talent management strategies focused on the acquisition, training and development of current and future leaders, as well as for global diversity strategies, domestically and internationally.

Torres has received numerous awards and recognition, most notably, the Eagle Leadership Award presented by the National Eagle Leadership Institute. In 2009, he was named one of the Top 100 Leaders Under 50 by Diversity MBA magazine.
