New Vampire Novel Comments on US Islamophobia and Immigration Tensions

Sept. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- The Falsifier is part 1 of a 14 part series, Red Serpent. It is the first published novel of US author Delson Armstrong, a 20 year old generation Y’er who firmly believes that the answer to many of these issues is the education of the next generation.

The Falsifier is loosely based on global discrimination issues which arose post September 11, and explores current intolerances in the guise of an entertaining novel reminiscent of the cult classic Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The messages are blended in an enthralling story which effectively blends a time honored favorite, Vampires, with another time honored favorite, Science Fiction. Readers will recognize the influence of political speeches by Presidents George W Bush and Barack Obama, the furor over Obama’s support of a mosque near Ground Zero and the Republican’s bid to deny automatic citizenship to US born children of illegal immigrants.



Despite the messages and influences, the book in itself is an entertaining story which has already drawn interest as a tv series. With a target audience of sixteen and over, The Falsifier is an exhilarating tale that follows a young man’s journey as he deals with living in the shadow of a legendary father and follows his ordained destiny to unite the scattered remnants of humanity.

With worldwide release on the 15th October, the book will be available as a paperback, hardcopy and on MP3. A percentage of each sale is being donated to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. “We all have a moral responsibility to the next generation,” says Delson “if the messages in the book teach our next generation to be loving and tolerant, and the donations from the book go some way towards helping children who have been left fatherless because of the racial, political and religious problems today, then I have taken my first step towards meeting my share of the responsibility.”
