Sept. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Louisville, KY: The Short Sale Association of America (SSAA) has just announced a key partnership with Saving Homes Today, a national leader in short sale real estate education. The partnership will allow SSAA to expand its educational content base for real estate professionals that prepare agents for the expanding distressed property market.

Saving Homes Today will be responsible for retooling SSAA’s education curriculum and providing general consultation to SSAA. The new curriculum will be a three course series, walking professionals through all aspects of a short sale transaction, as well as the unique aspects of working with each of the major banks and investors. Also, the education will include how to work with specific loan types, investors, and mortgage insurers. The content will be available to members on the SSAA website at http://www.ssaa.org .

Jonathan Bowman, President of SSAA had the following to say about the new partnership, “This partnership means a lot for agents all across the country. Saving Homes Today has a strong track record of results in working with short sales. Their experience in this industry is invaluable to our company and our core values. Agents will not only learn the inner-workings of many of the banks, but will also learn how to build their business as well. All in all, it’s a win-win situation for real estate agents and homeowners alike.”

The Short Sale Association of America is one of America’s leading institutions in helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. Their curriculums, code of ethics, and support resources have proven to increase the education and knowledge of homeowners and real estate professionals on the short sale process. SSAA’s directors have overseen the closing of over $100 million in short sale transactions to date.
