A continuous cord loop, the Hunter Douglas EasyRise™ lifting system, is standard on all Hunter Douglas Silhouette Window Shadings, which works on the principle of a pulley and rotates a clutch to raise or lower the shading or shade.
From the fully raised position, pulling down on the front half of the EasyRise cord loop lowers the shading. Continuing to pull on the cord, in the fully lowered position, the rear of the fabric shifts back to within 7/8" of the window or mounting surface.
