Sept. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The collection Bolongaro Trevor is the brainchild created by British designer couple Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor- original founders and former designers behind the cult retail store All Saints Retail. Original, unique and commercial ,the new collection comprises contemporary handmade pieces inspired by vintage finds amassed over the past 20 years, creating a modern and sharp sculptured  aesthetic with dark moody edge. Bolongaro Trevor is one of the hottest labels of the moment. Widely influenced by British niches and subcultures, Bolongaro Trevor cleverly combines these influences with traditional, vintage garments for a modern, sharp and vibrant aesthetic that flatters the figure and always looks styled and sculptured. Heavily involved in the London music scene, Stuart Trevor was behind the recent relaunch of The Blitz club at The Tabernacle in Shoreditch, further cementing Bolongaro Trevor as a lifestyle brand and not just a label. The designer couple studied at Ravensbourne and the Royal College of Art. Kait met Stuart (her business partner and now husband) in 1994, six months after he launched 'All Saints'. They started working together immediately. They then launched womenswear in 1996. Their career highlights are: Winning the Fashion and Textiles award.
The Jackets are made from reconstituted Union Jack flages,which appear as linings and prints on T-shirt,shirts,knits,scares and dresses. Available in over 100 stores worldwide including Selfridges, Atrium New York, IT Hong Kong,Beams,Nano Universe abd Journal Standard Japan. Bolongaro Trevor is currently the fastest growing brand in men’s contemporary in Selfridges London. Recent collaborations include The Who for their Feb 2010 Superbowl gig USA abd uber-cool bands Kasabaian and Kings of Leon for the front cover of music bible NME.
At the core of all collections is a heavy rock n’ roll sensibility and a moody darkness reminiscent of Victorian London, making the label a hit with the edgy East End crowd and celebrities such as Agyness Deyn, Daisy Lowe, Peaches Geldof, Liam Gallagher, Pete Doherty, Drew McConnell (Babyshambles), Depeche Mode,Josh Hubbard (Paddingtons), The Rakes and The Cazals amongst others.
