Seprate school for blind girls and boys India

Sept. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Netraheen Vikas Sansthan(NGO) is blind Seprate school for blind deaf and dumb girls and boys in jodhpur city,india.Realizing the painful sufferings of the blind this Sansthan (Society) was started, with 2 children on 15th August 1977 in Suncity, Jodhpur. It has its own constitution and also anyone giving help to this society will enjoy exemption from income tax under 80-G.

Cultural Program:-

Occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, Handicapped Day, Social welfare week, Gandhi Jayanti, Loullic Braille Birth Day are celebrated with full preparation and enthusiasm in which the art and cultural level of the blind students are some times so high that even the Spectators are amazed to see that level of art.

Music:-

Music is a way of expressing our feelings and it is a common link between people of different cultures thereby bringing about a harmony of thoughts. Music can bring about a positive approach to life and enhance the level of spiritual thinking. The music subject is compulsory for class 1st to 8th and as an optional subject for class 11th & 12th under which the training is given for all instruments like Guitar, Harmonium, Tabla , Drum , Piano , flute and Congo etc by trained music teachers.

Computer Education:-

School has recently established a fully air conditioned Computer Lab with the help of respected NRI donor Mr.Premchand Gadda & his friends from USA having 17 computers equipped with all latest hardware & software useful for blind.

School Uniform:-

School uniform is also provided to all the students by the institution.

Medical Camp:-

In every session, we make available medical check up and medical facilities.
Eye Check Up
This year Eye camp was organized in ASG Hospital, some boys were given advice for operation. This is almost regular feature to keep the eye doctor in touch with students.
ENT Check Up
All deaf and dumb students are studying with the help of SPEECH TRAIMER. The eudiometry test is also in progress for hearing aid.
Normal Health Check Up
Normal Health check up was done for all the students of this school from 7.10.2007 to 10.10.2007 by Dr. Jaswant Singh and Dr. Narendra Bhandari.

At present we are having 247 children with us and many more blind children are in need of proper care & education. But we are unable to admit them because of shortage of school & hostel accommodation, additional play ground, additional teachers & helpers, study material & furniture etc. Financial help which we get from the state govt. is not sufficient to meet the expenditure of this institute. The respected donors are the only hope for us. So in this respect we request you to contribute generously with pleasant feeling & happy heart. It has its own constitution and also anyone giving help to this society will enjoy exemption from income tax under 80-G.

Jodhpur Blind School is working for physical disabled children and youth.We want to do more facilities to disabled person and we require more subscribe for handling all those requirements for that.We need your support in such cases like manually services.
