QOOP Photo Contest for 2011 Calendars

QOOP has lauched it's annual photo contest for new 2011 calendars. The contest runs through January of 2011 with weekly prize winners. The contest offers photographers and artists a chance to showcase and sell their images through QOOP.com.
 
Sept. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Mill Valley, CA September 19, 2010—QOOP, a leading social commerce community has just launched its annual Calendar Photo Contest. The 2011 Photo Contest for Calendars is a little different from last years contest. Each week, through the end of January, 2011, QOOP will showcase the submissions and top finalist on their QOOP Photo Contest Blog. Each week, the editorial committee with choose a different winner to receive free calendars.

Entrants can upload their images directly to QOOP or import from flickr, then create their calendars at QOOP. Photographers and artist will find a simple calendar creator interface at QOOP with editorial control over each page. After the creation process, simply save the listing to myQOOP and fill out the listing with titles, tags, description, and set your royalty.
Mike Richardson, QOOP’s Community Organizer, devised the new photo contest for 2011 calendars. “Sales are always great for new calendars in the fall and winter so we want to stimulate awareness about our calendar options and offer photographers and artists a chance to get some free calendars to share with their friends and customers,” said Richardson. “We’ve already seen a bunch of great new photographers getting involved.”
South African nature photographer, Paul Milton, recently submitted a few new calendars for the 2011 QOOP calendar photo contest. “I love simple contests that help promote my photography. QOOP’s done quite well for me selling my images and with calendar season upon us I think the contest is a great idea,” said Milton.
