Advisor at UAL Corp.'s Reorganization, James Sprayregen, at Distressed Investing Experts Forum 2010

Mr. Sprayregen advised UAL Corp., the world's second largest airline, and certain affiliates, in all aspects of its complex Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings.  The United case is among the largest bankruptcy cases ever filed, and included the restructuring of leases and mortgages on approximately 450 aircraft which resulted in approximately $850 million of annual savings, the restructuring of $1.7 billion in municipal bond obligations, and the restructuring of multibillions of dollars in labor and pension agreements.

Mr. Sprayregen has extensive experience representing major U.S. and international companies in and out of court as well as buyers and sellers of assets in distressed situations. He has handled matters for clients in industries as varied as manufacturing, technology, transportation, energy, media, and real estate. He has extensive experience advising boards of directors, and generally representing domestic and international debtors and creditors in complex workout, insolvency, restructuring, and bankruptcy planning matters.
