Sept. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- In the Fall 2010 issue of The Texas Gun Collector magazine appears an article written by Old West Antiques owner Bob Wood.  The article titled, " Little Luke Short", is about old west gambler and gunfighter  Luke Short who was friends with Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, Doc Holliday and many other well known old west characters. Short owned the Long Branch Saloon in Dodge City and the White Elephant Saloon in Fort Worth. He also had two real life face-to-face, Hollywood type shootouts with known gambler and gunhand Charlie Storms and former Fort Worth Marshal Tim (long-haired Jim) Courtright.  Little Luke prevailed in both shootings.

The Texas Gun Collectors Association will be holding their 60th Anniversary gun show in Stockyards, Fort Worth, TX. October 15th through the 17th. For detailed information go to http://www.tgca.net/show_dates.htm.
