McCain Chips New TV Advert - McCain Launches £6m Advertising Campaign

McCain is launching a new high profile TV advertising campaign on 15th September, running in primetime evening and weekend slots for 6 weeks. It will also be supported by national radio and POS.

Sept. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Building on the success of its “It’s all good” campaign the new £6m campaign dramatises the pride that runs through British families, McCain and its products.  The campaign focuses on building a deeper emotional connection with consumers by showing that nobody understands British families quite like McCain.

The TV advert features heart-warming and amusing examples of proud family moments and concludes with framed pictures of McCain products proudly hanging on the wall, just like family photos at home.  The advert ends with the line “If it matters to families it matters to us”.

A new consumer website, www.mccainitsallgood.co.uk, launches on 14th September to coincide with the new advertising campaign. The website will encourage consumer engagement through games, interactive recipes and coupons. Consumers can sign up to collect “spud shillings” each time they visit the site.  These can be redeemed for rewards, encouraging them to return regularly.

Mark Hodge, Head of Brand, said: “The new campaign, along with the website reaches out to families, our core consumer, and we expect it to drive long term brand loyalty, and add value to the frozen potato category.”
