VarioCooking Center: saves time, money, energy and CO2

Independent research carried out at a British prison has shown that by replacing existing equipment in the main kitchen with two VarioCooking Centers, the prison will reduce its energy costs and CO2 emissions by 64 percent.
By using two 311+ VarioCooking Centers savings of up to 127,400 kWh* of energy a year can be made. This amounts to saving £8,918 per year in energy costs** and 69.29 Tonnes of CO2***.
The VarioCooking Center’s VarioBoost heating technology is key to its energy saving. VarioBoost cooks three times as fast as conventional cooking methods. It heats to 250C in just four minutes and it offers rapid cool-down, too, minimising turnaround time between batches.
VarioBoost uses a compact, network-like heating structure beneath the base of the pan to transfer heat directly and evenly to the food, cutting down on the overall power consumption. The intelligent VarioCooking Control continually monitors the cooking process and adjusts the heat so food doesn’t burn, stick or boil over.
The VarioCooking Center is also extremely easy to use. A clear, graphic display guides the chef through entering information and the unit does the rest, fully automatically.
