How Does Kinect Work?

How does it really work?

Like the Wii sensor, Kinect uses motion tracking camera which you place near you TV and plug in into your Xbox 360. The main difference is that Kinect truly scans your whole body motion and even picks up your movements and synchronize those in the game; meaning that you don’t even need a controller in your hands as your whole body is indeed the controller.

If you want to select something from the actual onscreen menu all you need to do is lift your hand and motion which icon or games you want to choose; just like the scene we’ve seen in the film “Minority Report’.
