Rypos Names James Ernstmeyer Vice President of Engineering

Sept. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- James Ernstmeyer recently joined Rypos as its Vice President of Engineering. Ernstmeyer will lead the engineering department in the continued development of reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective diesel particulate filter systems. He will also be instrumental in protecting core technologies, pursuing patent and trademark claims, and in advising Rypos’ senior management on corporate legal matters. Rypos, Inc is the leader in the design and manufacturing of active exhaust control systems for the reduction of harmful emissions from diesel engines.

Ernstmeyer holds a master’s degree in physics and a doctorate in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Juris Doctorate from Boston University. He joins Rypos with more than 20 years experience as a senior engineering manager and patent agent in commercial ventures and U.S. Air Force technology developments. Ernstmeyer is currently a Chapter Chair in the IEEE, the world’s largest association for the advancement of technology. A resident of Melrose, Mass., Ernstmeyer will be based at Rypos corporate headquarters in Holliston, Mass.
