Sept. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- HammerKit, the creator of the cloud based online service design system, hosts a web site design competition targeted at aspiring and professional web designers.

“We want to give talented designers a chance to showcase their skills beyond photoshop, in building a fully functional dynamic web site ready to service its users. A design competition is a great way to encourage aspiring web designers to innovate and grasp new technologies, which is a must if you want to remain competitive in today’s web design world.” says Mark Sorsa-Leslie, CEO of HammerKit.

The task is to build an interactive site on the HammerKit platform. There are three different categories to choose from. 1) Reservation service, which is a site that allows users to make a booking for e.g. a trip, time slot for a hairdresser/beautician/dentist etc. 2) Showcase, which is a photo or video gallery for e.g. product samples, personal portfolios, locations, recepies, collections of crafts and arts etc. 3) Social Media Service, which is a site connecting together various social media forming a new entity for even better follow-up on friends’ and associates’ messages and content.

The deadline for submissions is November 30th 2010. The winner will be awarded with a Wacom Intuos A4 wide tablet (worth €500) and one free site specific launch fee (worth €299) as well as one year free HammerKit site hosting plan (starting from €29 a month).
