Vision Source at Dynamic Eye Care hosts Fall Fashion Eyewear Event on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Sept. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS —Vision Source at Dynamic Eye Care will host its Fall Fashion Eyewear Event on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The event, which is free and open to the public, will showcase the latest designs in frames and sunglasses for both adults and children from brands such as Coach, Flexon, ProDesign Denmark, X-Games and Disney Princess. Consultants from each brand will be on hand to offer complimentary consultations on fit and style selection.

Shoppers can take advantage of big savings that are offered on the day of the event only.  With the purchase of frames shoppers will receive free single vision plastic lenses.  Additionally, when shoppers purchase a complete pair of glasses, including frame and lenses, shoppers will receive 20 percent off.  For every additional pair of glasses bought shoppers will receive 30 percent off.    Offers may not be combined with insurance or other promotions.  Additionally, shoppers who purchase frames from Disney Princess, X-Games, Flexon Kids or Marchon frames will receive a special gift.

“This event was designed to be a fun shopping experience as well as a convenient time for parents to bring their children in for an annual eye exam,” says Dr. Tran from Vision Source. According to the American Optometric Society (AOA), children should get eye exams beginning at the age of six months, followed by exams at three years old and before starting school. Adults and children with healthy vision should have exams every year, and those who wear glasses or contacts should be evaluated annually or as instructed by their optometrist. “Most people don’t come into the office until something is wrong,” says Dr. Tran, “and eye conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and glaucoma can go undetected. The sooner a vision problem is detected and treated, the more successful treatment will be.”
