Sept. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Day (1): Cairo

Arrival will be at Cairo airport. Meet & assist by our representative through the formalities and customs. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight will be at the hotel
 
**Optional tour: Gala dinner on a cruising restaurant down the Nile. The cruise sails for 02 hours including belly dancer show, folklore show, horse dancing show and based on open buffet dinner

Day (2): Cairo

Breakfast will be at the hotel. The day will be a full day tour to visit Sakkara, 28 Km southern to Giza, where you will see the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first pyramid has been built in Egypt, then to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt where you will see the huge statue of King Ramses II lying on the ground losing his arm. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Continue to Giza to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor. It is the largest of the three main Pyramids and it is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion’s body stretching 45 m, with its paws 15 m long.  Learn how paper was made in the ancient times with a visit to the Papyrus Institute followed by a short visit to a Perfumery workshop. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

**Optional tour:   Sound & Light Show at Sphinx Plateau.

Day (3): Cairo

Breakfast will be at the hotel. The day will be a full day tour to the world famous Egyptian Museum with its 100,000 objects covering 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization including the treasures of Tutankhamen. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Then we will visit the Citadel including the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammad Ali. Continue to Old Cairo to visit Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue and have a look at Amr Ibn El A'as Mosque, the first mosque has been built in Egypt. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar which dates back to the fourteenth century. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day (4): Cairo - Sharm - Dahab

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport for departure to Sharm El Sheikh City. Upon arrival Sharm airport, there will be meet and assist and transfer to Dahab city. Dahab means 'gold' in Arabic. In Sinai it means golden sands, turquoise sea and off-beat cafe life. It is a focus of tourism development, with swaying palms, fine sand and wonderful snorkeling opportunities. About 5 miles from town is the famous Blue Hole, for diving. Towards the Israeli border is the Island of Coral, where the Crusaders built a fort. The remains can still be seen. There are many reefs immediately adjacent to the waterfront hotels, so scuba diving and snorkeling are also very popular sports, especially considering the nearby Blue Hole. Check in at the hotel. Then we will take the first dive at Light House, situated in the bay of Dahab and offers various depths. It has large sandy slopes beside a rocky wall, gorgeously colored corals, and boasts abundant marine life, such as sleeping parrot fish and Spanish dancers. The second dive will be at the Canyon, which is a deep wide ravine in the ocean floor. Entering at the fish bowl, which is an enclosed circular cavern full of small gold fish or glassfish, the depths slope from 15 meters to one exit at 30 meters, and another at 52 meters. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel  in Dahab

Day (5): Dahab

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Today we will  try out The Blue Hole, which is thought to be one of the top world-class dive sites. It is a hole in the reef about 55 meters wide and its max depth is 102 meters. This site offers dives to 30 meters and features a stunning archway, which leads into the bottomless open sea at 54 meters, for advanced divers. The next dive will be at Ras Abu Galoum beside sand dunes and high mountains. It is ideal for shallow reef dives with its clear blue lagoon and scattered pinnacles. Turtles and ray fish are often spotted there. And then we will go on to Gabr El Bint to enjoy diving among virgin reefs and rich marine life. This site offers wall diving and gentle sandy slopes with coral outcrops. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
