Dieci Lifestyle Spa Toasts 15 Years In The Business

Sept. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Dieci Lifestyle Spa of Livingston, NJ is celebrating it’s 15th anniversary in October and, to commemorate the special occasion, will be hosting five major events, and daily offers throughout the month to pamper longtime clients and welcome newcomers.  

On October 1, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 7p.m., Dieci Lifestyle Spa kicks off their anniversary events by hosting an in-salon casting call for their second annual Scratch the Surface Fashion Show.  Dieci will be casting teenagers, adults, and cancer survivors to join the fun and strut down the runway in the fashion show. The minimum age is 16 and the minimum height requirement is 5’7”.

On October 7, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dieci Lifestyle Spa presents the in-salon book signing with Andrea Lynn Katz, author of Chemo Katelynn: Humorous Perspectives on Life Before Cancer & After Diagnosis.  Based on real-life experiences of its author, Chemo KateLynn follows the fictional heroine, Chemo KateLynn, on her journey before and after her cancer diagnosis.  From treatment and family issues to food and shopping, the book takes an honest, playful look at the everyday life of a cancer survivor and highlights different Livingston, NJ establishments, including Dieci, which Katz frequents in her everyday life.  For every book purchased at the event, a portion of the proceeds will go to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Dieci patrons will get a chance to travel to Italy when the salon plays host to an in-salon Italian café on Saturday October 16, 2010, from 12p.m. to 4p.m.  Staff and clients can sip on fresh brewed cappuccinos and espressos while experiencing different flavored cannoli and desserts while relaxing in the ultimate spa experience.

To further show their appreciation for staff and clients, Dieci will host an in-salon Wine and Dine event on October 22 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Guests will get a chance to sip on a selection of red and white wines from Palmaz Vineyards, of Napa Valley, California, and divulge in decadent Italian food selections from Peter’s in Millburn.

Rounding out their anniversary festivities, Dieci will host its second annual Scratch The Surface fashion show on Tuesday, October 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 4Sixty6 Lounge in West Orange, NJ.  This exciting event will feature runway models decked out in the latest fashions from areas top designers, boutiques, and specialty stores. New Jersey’s hottest DJ spinning unique sounds and intricate hair and makeup styles from Dieci Lifestyle Spa artists.  Attendees will get the chance to buy what they see on the runway, shopping the latest fashion looks for a discounted price!
