Sept. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Aurora, IL, September 7, 2010 – Lori Campbell, Chief of Operations for The Label Printers, will be a featured speaker for the September 13th Label Release Liner Industry Seminar in Chicago.  She will address the converter’s perspective on release liner – how it does and/or could impact converters and their customers.  Her 25 years of experience in the label converting business, coupled with her current responsibilities for sales, purchasing, and manufacturing operations gives Ms. Campbell the experience and perspective to address this topic from multiple perspectives.  She states, “The Label Printers has added release liner waste to our list of issues to be addressed by our L.I.F.E. program (the Tag and Label Manufacturer’s Institute, Inc. Label Initiative For the Environment (L.I.F.E.).  Industry people such as Calvin Frost of Channeled Resources have, for years, been encouraging label converters and their customers to consider the environmental impact of release liner waste.  Between the industry’s passionate advocates for waste reduction, like Calvin, programs like TLMI’s L.I.F.E., and industry seminars such as this one, the topic of waste is gaining traction at the converter level.”
