Denyc is Dee in "Hard Drive 13"

Sept. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Actor-singer-dancer Denyc stars alongside cb shaw in "Hard Drive 13", the uber cool new web-series which is scheduled to begin its bi-weekly run on October 13th.

Denyc plays the role of Dee, the beautiful and dangerous operative of a shadowy agency known as the ISD. Unfortunately, the ISD has been taken over by agents-gone-rogue, and Dee must flee in an attempt to protect herself and her old friend Nomad (cb shaw). Nomad is in possession of the enigmatic hard drive 13, and Dee must ensure that he is able to decode its data before it can be recovered by the ISD. http://harddrive13.com/behind-the-scenes-denyc-is-dee/

Currently based in LA, Denyc (http://www.denyc.com/) completed filming HD 13's first six episodes in Vancouver - her hometown - in May. She will also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming "Two Indians Talking."

Describing Dee's skills in dangerous situations (which include an evident familiarity with firearms) Denyc jokes, "I pretty much save the day in every episode." Although Dee and Nomad have a lot of history between them, the classified nature of Dee's work - with Nomad’s missing father, no less - has forced her to disappear from Nomad's life for a time. Noting this, Denyc states that Dee "comes back... and kind of tries to redeem herself by trying to help [Nomad] out."

“HD13” was written and directed by Stephen H. Plitt (“Super-Anon”), who also co-produced with Michael Chmara (“Riese: The Series”), and M.E. Lewis (“Dark Island”). The series' sharp looking official site, nicely designed by co-producer Preston Chuhon (“Riese: The Series”), already features HD 13's eye-popping teaser, as well as behind-the-scenes interviews and other intriguing material.
