| Tina Sugandh to perform at The Pink Runway Breast Cancer fundraiser from Loma Linda UniversityOn September 25th, 2010, Billboard recording star and reality TV personality Tina Sugandh will perform at the second annual Pink Runway breast cancer awareness fashion show in Redlands, California put on by the Plastic Surgeons of Loma Linda.
By: I-Med, LLC The planning committee approached Tina earlier this year knowing of her own family's battle with breast cancer. They caught her just before she embarks on her media tour for the release of her new single, “So Good” featuring Fat Joe due out in October. Tina is excited to perform in this event and she said, "I will do everything I can to support better detection, treatment, and reconstruction of the 1 in 8 women in America who will develop breast cancer.". All of the proceeds from the fashion show event will benefit research efforts in the Cancer Center and the Center for Breast Reconstruction at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Tina further noted, "The organizers of The Pink Runway 2010 are very passionate about breast cancer and are really involved in this important fight. I couldn't be with a stronger team.". Macy's is providing all of the fashions for the models and the team of 15 models will all have professional makeup from a volunteer team from ColoreScience. Other major sponsors include Mentor Corporation (a Johnson and Johnson company) and Botox Cosmetic and Natrelle (from Allergan, Inc). Numerous Southern California businesses are also supporters of this event and will be represented in the exhibitors row at the venue showcasing breast health information kiosks, breast cancer reconstruction experts, and beauty products from the aestheticians and plastic surgeons of Loma Linda University. This years event will be held at 7 PM on September 25th at the Fox Event Center in Redlands, CA. Hors d'oeuvres from Riverside's own Green Olive Grill will be available throughout the program. Tickets for this important event are $25 per person, though they are free for the first 50 breast cancer survivors who call (909) 558-2344.
