GREENFIELD PUPPIES MATCHES $500 REWARD IN SEARCH FOR STOLEN RARE PIT BULL PUPPY

Lancaster, PA -  Greenfield Puppies has matched the $500 reward offered in the search for a blue pit bull puppy stolen from the Lancaster, PA residence of Josh Wood last week, raising the reward total to $1,000.

“Josh is a long time friend of ours” says Greenfield Puppies owner Shawn Hostetter.  “and we just thought it was the right thing to do.”

The puppy, Titan, was stolen last week while Josh and his wife were both at work.   Wood noticed Titan was missing when he came home on his lunch break.  A few days later a note was left on Wood's front door with $100 cash inside.

“Josh got a note that said 'We found your dog.'” says Hostetter.  “It said 'We had to take him to the vet and we spent $282. We are attached to him already and my children are in love with him and he sleeps in bed with us. We were going to return him but we are so in love with him we can’t.'”

“Josh has a 3-year-old son that's attached to that puppy, too.  When we found out what happened, we immediately matched the reward money.  We just hope it helps.”

The Manheim Township police department is now treating this case as theft after checking with local veterinarians.
