Sept. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- The thought of learning jazz piano intrigues many folks around the world. Jazz education is often associated with some of the university biggies such as Berklee College of Music and Texas State University. But when it come to individuals who aspire to crank out some of those jazz piano chords we're used to hearing on recording of such piano giants as Bill Evans and others, there's good news.

Adults of all ages are hooking on to a program that has them not only encouraged but inspired when it comes to producing many of those jazz piano sounds at their fingertips. Imagine receiving your weekly piano lesson in your email box, which contains thorough textual explanation, interesting graphics, and even a piano video demonstration that accompanies each lesson.

"One week is a good time frame because it gives me time to absorb the information and apply it. It's fascinating how fast the week goes by for me with this stuff," says 65 year old online student John Gilmore. "The creator, Dave, whom I've emailed personally from time to time, is a great teacher as well as a terrific guy. He knows how to get the message across. This is stuff my old time piano teachers never taught me."

The name of the online piano chord program is "ProProach" and it's sweeping the Web with its popularity. "I wanted to create a program that anyone could relate to. Adults of all ages are confirming that I've achieved what I set out to do and it gives me goosebumps when I hear about their progress via email," says program creator Dave Longo. "I'm truly grateful for its success."

When asked how the name came about, Dave's response was, "ProProach is literally a pro's approach to playing piano chords. I wanted the adult student to know what it's like to think like a pro when it comes to producing these sounds. A chief aim of mine is to get people to open their minds to greater levels of creativity. And I want them to understand that it's possible, whatever age they happen to be."

The program not only shows you how to play some of those super-sounding chords, but it also shows you how to incorporate them into your own songs. It's genuine in its approach and there's no wonder why it's catching on with so many. Dave's enthusiasm and expertise shines through from the very first lesson. By the fime you've reached Lesson #25, who knows what you'll sound like?
