Nashville IT firm Advanced Network Solutions recognized as 1 of the 5000 fastest growing companies

Sept. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – IT company Advanced Network Solutions reaches another business milestone after it garners a spot in the prestigious Inc. Magazine’s Top 500|5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America for 2010.

Listing revenue of $3.1 million in 2006, and $4.8 million in revenue in 2009, Advanced Network Solutions posted a 55% growth, achieving rank 3,383 on the Top 5000 list, and a top 33 rank in the Nashville area.

Inc. Magazine has annually listed America’s top 500 fastest growing companies since 1982, and has included companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Timberland, Morningstar, Jamba Juice, and Domino’s Pizza. In 2007, Inc. Magazine expanded the list to include the Top 5000.

Honorees this year came from varied industries, and were chosen based on percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, all companies must have been established in or before 2005 and must be for profit, privately owned, independent (not a subsidiary of another company), and based in the United States. Revenue should also be higher than $100,000 (for 2006) and at least $2 million (for 2009).
