Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival (D)
Meet on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon: City tour (if time permits): Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Hoa Lo prison and Quan Thanh Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/ L/ D)
Morning: City tour: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and whole October-November) and Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Army Museum, The Temple of Literature. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon: Drive to Halong, 180 km east of Hanoi. Overnight in Halong City.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/ L/ D)
In the morning: Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. A 4-hour cruise on a wooden boat through the picturesque bay of 3,000 limestone islands dotted with caves and grottoes. Seafood lunch on board. In the afternoon: Drive back to Hanoi. Evening: water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Hue (B/ L/ D)
In the morning: Drive 75 km to Hoa Binh. 2,5 hour boat trip on Da reservoir with visit ethnic minority villages where it surrounded by rice paddies, farms and houses-on-stilts. Visit to Yang Mo villages by car. This area is home of many hill tribes including Muong and Dzao ethnic minorities. Drive back to Hanoi. Transfer to the airport for night flight to Hue. Arrive to Hue and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue (B/ L/ D)
Morning: boat trip on Perfume River, visit Thien Mu Pagoda
Afternoon: Visit the Imperial Citadel and the tomb of King Tu Duc and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B/ L/ D)
Drive to Danang across the Hai Van Pass, passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, China Beach then proceed to Hoi An and transfer to hotel. Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Nha Trang (B/ L/ D)
Morning is free at leisure. Drive to Danang, lunch at local restaurant then transfer to the airport for short flight to Nha Trang. Arrive to Nha Trang, transfer to hotel for refreshment. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 8: Nha Trang – Island tour (B/ L/ D)
Experience the bay of Nha Trang with the first stop at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Then head out to Hon Mun Island where you have the chance for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Continue to Hon Tam Island where you have the choice of relaxing on the beach or water sports. Lunch stop at the fishing village of Lang Chai and then boarding the boat back to Nha Trang harbor. If time permits, we will visit the Po Nagar Towers, an outstanding of ancient Cham architecture and touring around Dam Market before transfer back to the hotel. Be at leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 9: Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City (B/ L/ D)
Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Nha Trang. Arrival to Ho Chi Minh City. City tour to visit city highlights with Central Post Office, The Opera House, City House and Presidential Palace. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/ L/ D)
Visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels – 40 km from Ho Chi Minh City, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and visit to the Thien Hau Pagoda and the China Town area. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B/ L/ D)
Morning: Coach trip to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route. Continue with a visit to a snake farm and then drive back Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Free until transfer to Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
