PUR2o Invited to Attend 3rd Annual Green Fair of The Chathams.

Aug. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- The Green Fair of The Chathams is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. rain or shine at Reasoner Park in the Borough of Chatham. Since its inception in 2007, the Green Fair has featured vendors offering environmentally conscious services, sustainable products as well as entertainment and activities for children.

As a service to guests of the fair, PUR2o will provide free, high quality drinking water for all attendees. Visitors to the PUR2o booth will also be able to submit a home water sample for on the spot free, basic water quality testing.

PUR2o Owner and EVP, Mizar Turdiu says providing water in this way serves a two-fold purpose. “We are thrilled to have been invited to exhibit at the Green Fair of the Chathams. Rising sales of bottled water demonstrate how unsatisfied the general public is with the quality of tap water. However, most bottled water is marginally better than what is found coming from the tap. Producing and shipping plastic bottles contributes to greenhouse gases and most of the used, discarded bottles end up in landfills. Visitors to the fair are encouraged to bring a reusable container so that they can take advantage of PUR2o’s contribution to the fair and stay properly hydrated by drinking PUR2o’s filtered water for free. For those without a container, PUR2o will provide PLA - Corn based cups which bio-degrade in 90 days.
