Acura's sexiest car in their line-up now is the ZDX, and we think of that as a good thing. The only downside to the eye catching style and sleek appearance of this crossover is that interior space and versatility were sacrificed during design. With a glass half-full point of view looking inside the ZDX you'll find one of its most appealing aspects, as long as you get to ride in the front. The cluster layout shares elements with other Acura products, like the MDX, but the center control panel is defiantly distinct as it springs to life on start-up from a deep and elegant black to a dazzling illumination of buttons and knobs. The beautiful hand-stitched leather trim on the dashboard, center console and door panels adds a nice touch of luxury and style.

Now on the other hand, if your glass is half empty and you're sitting in a ZDX then it's safe to say you're probably sitting in the back. With such a low drop in the roofline and high floors with low seats, if you can even get in without hitting your head, you'll find the feel more like that of a sports car. Rear legroom is sparse and seating is cramped, making the claim of being a "four door coupe" a little too realistic for our taste. Either way you look at it, the ZDX is a worthy crossover that starts out well below the starting price of the BMW X6, and if you don't need the German version's bells and whistles to enjoy a four door coupe/crossover then this is defiantly what you've been waiting for.
