Presenting the awards on October 8, 2009, at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA, the Business Journal commented that, "The Top 70 Private Companies” are the companies that grew at a pace not less than 30% between 2006 and 2008 and this happens to be the largest group to achieve the mark since 2000.  The message was loud and clear. Infoyogi grew at about 80% during this period. Receiving the award, Rao Tallapragada said, “It is a smart idea to start companies during a recession, from where one can only grow”. Infoyogi started during the last recession, continued its aggressive growth in to the current recession. It stood the test of time and the customer expectations.

The rank is based on 2 years' growth of net sales from calendar year 2006 to calendar year 2008. Net sales were verified by public filings when possible. All the Top 70 Fast Growth companies were honored at an event on October 8 at Computer History Museum, Mountain View, CA.
