Aug. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Due to an increase in popularity of teeth whitening discounts, the UK’s leading daily city deals website, http://www.Groupola.com has looked extensively into site statistics to discover which cities across the UK have the ‘yellowest’ teeth, based on their demand for teeth whitening products.

According the data from http://www.Groupola.com 18% of the total sales for teeth whitening discounts have been purchased by people in the city of Birmingham, suggesting that they are most in need of products to improve the appearance of their teeth. In contrast, only 2% of the sales are from people in Portsmouth, suggesting they are the least in need of teeth whitening products.

Londoners came a close second for the ‘yellowest’ teeth, with 17% of the total sales for teeth whitening products being purchased by residents of the capital.
Below are the top 5 cities with the ‘yellowest’ teeth, based on the places with the highest demand for teeth whitening products on http://www.Groupola.com;

1.       Birmingham – 18%
2.       London – 17%
3.       Liverpool – 14%
4.       Brighton – 13%
5.       Exeter – 11%

The cities with the ‘whitest’ teeth, based on the cities that have the lowest demand for teeth whitening purchases through http://www.Groupola.com are;
1.       Portsmouth – 2%
2.       Edinburgh – 3%
3.       Bristol – 6%
4.       Manchester – 7%
5.       Cardiff - 9%

Mark Pearson, Managing Director of http://www.Groupola.com commented on the findings;
“Having teeth whitened is becoming an increasingly popular trend. The reason behind this research was due to the increase in sign-ups we were experiencing on the site for teeth whitening-related offers. I was surprised at the statistics, as we didn’t expect there to be such a big difference in demand between cities.”

He continued,

“Groupola.com is about group buying power; the site offers large discounts and, providing enough people sign up to the deal, we can offer some fantastic savings. The statistics have shown there is a big demand for such a service, so we’ll be looking into getting more teeth-whitening deals onto the site.”
