Vive The Special DREAM Art Exhibition 2010 on Display at Alhambra City Hall Lobby in September

Aug. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- The Academy of Special Dreams announced today the opening of Vive The Special DREAM Art Exhibition 2010 hosted by the City of Alhambra, California, which will be on display during the entire month of September 2010 at the Alhambra City Hall Lobby.  The exhibition will feature original paintings, photographs, and other works of art by 15 different artists with disabilities from around the United States.

“We believe that all persons, regardless of their disabilities, should have equal opportunities to express their talents and to be successful in the Arts," said Michael Dergar, President and CEO of the Pasadena-based Academy of Special Dreams.  "Vive The Special DREAM Art Exhibition 2010 is another opportunity for us to encourage, promote and showcase the artistic expressions of these amazing artists from around the country.  We give many thanks to the City of Alhambra for collaborating with us and to the Woo Education Foundation for its on-going financial support.”
