Paradise In The Park At Liverpool ONE

Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Paradise in the Park on Chavasse Park in Liverpool ONE opens to the public today (Thursday July 22nd) until Tuesday August 31st.

Paradise in the Park sees the transformation of Chavasse Park into a tropical paradise, complete with a huge beach area (using 240 tonnes of sand), Coconut Joe's Beach Bar, a clear blue sea for kids to paddle in and a bandstand entertainment area.

The rest of the park has been taken over with the UK's largest mobile rollercoaster -- Shark Bite standing at 20 metres tall -- and a host of other rides and attractions for the whole family to enjoy including Bumper Boats, Pony Express, Hook-a-Coconut and inflatable slides.

Said Liverpool ONE estate director Chris Bliss: "We wanted to do something for summer which really made the most of the park. There's activity happening throughout the summer from early in the morning right through to last thing at night, so there really is something for all the family to enjoy."

Bringing a touch of California to Liverpool, exercise classes will take place on the beach, weekdays at 7.30am, including boxercise and tai chi, and every Monday and Tuesday evening at 6pm, teams are invited to take part in a volleyball tournament.

Activity on the bandstand includes live music performances and DJs throughout the summer.
