Watch Your Child Sing at a Dbacks Game This Season!

Valley kids are invited to sing at a Dbacks game with the Scottsdale Children’s Choir on September 25, 2010

Aug. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The 2nd annual Choir Night at the Dbacks is September 25, 2010 at Chase Field and Scottsdale Children’s Choir still has openings for kids who want to participate. Children do not have to be members of Scottsdale Children’s Choir and no experience is necessary, but there will be several rehearsals to prepare for the event.

About Scottsdale Children’s Choir:
The Scottsdale Children's Choirs (SCC) are made up of singers entering grade 1 through grade 8. The singers in the SCC receive a comprehensive music education with emphasis on performance and singing technique. Music theory, ear training, and notation lessons are included within rehearsals. The SCC curriculum includes learning in an environment focused on helping create positive role models in our community and good citizens. The SCC program is designed to partner with school choral music programs. SCC seeks to further develop musicians who can bring their musical experiences back to the school classroom to help enhance the choral experience for their school and community.

This group is lead by director Jennaya Robison, an in-demand conductor, clinician, and soprano throughout Arizona and the United States. She has held faculty positions at the college level as well as in public schools.
