Ribbon cutting slated by West Shore Chamber of Commerce for West Shore Gallery, Inc.

Aug. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Wormleysburg, PA - The West Shore Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday September 21 from noon to 1 PM to honor the recent opening of the West Shore Gallery at 100 S Front St in this town. A complete agenda and list of planned attendees is not available at this time, but local officials, business leaders and VIPs are invited.

West Shore Gallery, Inc. is both a fine art gallery and a photography studio. The fine art gallery sells art created by regional artists from surrounding large cities (Washington, DC, New York, Philadelphia, etc.) in addition to local artists and antique art. The Gallery also buys and appraises fine art.

The photography studio provides a myriad of digital photography services for consumers and businesses including weddings, events, portraits, senior pictures, church & organization directories, and commercial photography.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for the gallery for Saturday September 4th. Washington, DC artist Mary Gallagher Stout will be present to discuss her current exhibit in the main gallery. There will also be numerous prizes and give-aways.

West Shore Gallery, Inc. opened for business Friday August 20, and will begin its regular schedule Thursday August 26. The business is directly across the Susquehanna River from Harrisburg's City Island and Capitol Dome. The business location is in the middle of the planned Riverwalk Park to run from the Market St Bridge to Pine St in the borough.
