Last Canine Cadet Adventure of the season at Historic Fort Adams

This summer the Fort Adams Trust created our new Canine Cadet Adventures, a social gathering for dogs and their owners.  Following the success of our premier cadet induction held in June, the Trust continued to host this event on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of July and August, with our last Adventure of the season taking place on Thursday, August 26th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

The Canine Cadet Adventure allows dogs and their owners to gather, mingle and socialize around our fire pit and enjoy the expanse of our 6 ½ acre Parade Field.  This event helps bring the public and their dogs not only to the Park, but inside the walls of the Fort itself.  

Admission includes treats and water for cadets and ingredients for ‘make your own smores’ and fire side hot dogs for owners.  Admission is $10 per owner and $5 for each additional person (limit two Cadets per person).  Trust Members enter for half price. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.  Proceeds from this event benefit the stabilization, restoration, maintenance and operations of Fort Adams as a public historic site.
