Aug. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- By all means Disney World can be a great and fun vacation, delighting millions of visitors every year, as the magic kingdom tops the poll of the highest attendance of any attraction worldwide. Part of its appeal is no doubt all the attractions that the resort has to offer, yet this can also leave some a little bewildered. All in all the resort has four theme parks, and two water parks, and about a million vistas and little surprises along the way. Trawling through with the family can prove a little stressful for those without good plan of attack. The best way to approach Walt Disney World is informed and prepared, but also willing to let yourself relax.

Have a good plan:

Because there is so very much to see in Disney World it is best to accept that you are not going to be able to see everything. When you book your website decide what you would most like to see and begin to form a plan. Disney's website has a great feature to help you plan your holiday. Be sure to find out what your family are most looking forward to seeing.

In your plan you should also consider which restaurants you wish to go to and making reservations accordingly. Booking early is usually a good idea, especially for character dining.

If it suits your budget you can get the Park Hopper ticket, allowing you to visit as many parks as you wish on the same day. This is best if you want to cram as much in to your time as possible. You can start in the Animal Kingdom, before making your way to the Magic Kingdom for parades, and then traveling on to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Expect crowds:

If visiting at peak times it is usually best to expect large crowds, this is one off the biggest tourist attractions in the world. American national holidays tend to be the busiest times of the year, as is Spring Break.

Even at off peak times there will be some queues for the most popular rides. You can offset these waiting times with Disney's Fastpass, which is available for many of the favourite rides here.

Arrive early:

Even on less crowded days it is much less stressful to arrive early on for the Disney show and Dinner reservations and so on. Allow time to get from A to B keeping in mind the distance you have to travel. Keep calm by arriving early.

Stay hydrated:

This is something that is easy to neglect if you are whizzing through the park, but the Florida sun does take its toll and in order to properly enjoy the park be sure to take a number of breaks allowing you to rehydrate.

Also be sure to be fully sun screened under the Florida sun.

Consider where you want to stay:

While Disney World has many hotels to choose from, owned by themselves or from outside corporations, you could also consider an Orlando’s vacation rentals allowing you your own space after a busy day at the theme park.
