cb shaw is Nomad in "Hard Drive 13"

Aug. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- cb shaw, a Vancouver-based DJ and Video Remix artist, is the star of  "Hard Drive 13", the awesomely cool new web-series which is scheduled to begin its bi-weekly run on September 27th.

shaw plays the role of Nomad, a hip skateboarding computer-hacker who professes to be a "freedom fighter with a mouse". Nomad holds the key to deciphering the data on the enigmatic hard drive 13. shaw (http://www.cbshaw.com/), a successful fixture on the Las Vegas club scene, completed filming the series' first five episodes in May.

Describing Nomad's sudden discovery of a malevolent conspiracy, shaw says, "He doesn't know what he's doing - he's a skateboarder-hacker, how are you supposed to deal with guys with guns chasing you? He's really kind of growing, but you don't grow instantly - it takes time." shaw adds that what he really enjoys about playing Nomad is "...we're gonna' see him, over all these episodes, get more and more competent with these dangerous situations that he's in... It's kind of exciting to play something that has that much range to it."

“Hard Drive 13” was ably written and directed by Stephen H. Plitt (“Super-Anon”),  who also co-produced with Michael Chmara (“Riese: The Series”) and actor M.E. Lewis (“Dark Island”).  The series will be released under the banner of Four Dimensional Films in association with High Deaf Productions, and is sure to be a thrilling redefinition of the web-series format.
