Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa hires Tracey Hughes as Director of Catering

Aug. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Shamin Hotels today announces the hiring of Tracey Hughes as the Director of Catering.  The role will be responsible for sales and service of events from small corporate meetings to large, high profile events for over 1000 guests at the new Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa in Short Pump.  Earlier this month the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa was awarded the Four Diamond Award by AAA and has created a new standard for upscale accommodations and services in the region.

After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, Ms. Hughes’ passion for hospitality enabled her to work in all facets of the industry including hotels, private clubs, independent and corporate restaurants as well as international experience in the Caribbean and Central America. She has held positions in operations, sales, event management, and restaurant ownership.

Tracey is a native of Richmond, Virginia and resides in Oilville, VA with her husband.
