Prior to that, he was Regional Director, Food and Beverage, Middle East & South Africa for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Richard has 19 years of international hospitality experience in Europe, North America, Middle East & Africa and a luxury cruise line in Asia Pacific and spent the past 12 years with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. His background and experience as an international hotelier well equips him for his new role.

Richard holds an MBA from the School of Management, University of Leicester in England. He also earned a Diploma of Hotel Management and Administration from Krems Hotel School in Austria and a Diploma of Wine Sommelier from the Wine Academy of Austria.
