Are you a homeless success story like Tyler Perry?

Sept. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- When you hear the word homeless, do you automatically think of people on the corner asking for change or food? Have you placed all homeless people in a box of hopelessness and addiction? If this is you, you are not alone. Many people stereotype homeless people and count them out of the society of productive children, men and women. Author Versandra Kennebrew was one of them before she became homeless herself.

Since Kennebrew emerged from the shelter on 2004, she has met and read about hundreds of dynamic people who are homeless success stories. She wants these stories to be publicized to encourage folks in transition to never give up? During these tough economic times, she feels people need to know they are not alone and that with a little support and guidance they too can move beyond their circumstances and become a beacon of light to others.

In an effort to shine a spotlight on those who have faced the challenge of losing everything only to burst out of their slump to become self-sufficient and to help others, author and homeless advocate Versandra Kennebrew is creating a national video log (vlog). Not only will this vlog spotlight over-comers and their accomplishments, it will encourage and give vision to those who are still in transition.

What to include in your video:
