Serenity Recovery Retreats in the SouthWest of Ireland.

Aug. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Serenity Retreats are designed to enable you to renew and revive your committment to recovery. With the help of our stunning location and specialist addiction recovery programs, you will feel empowered to focus on long-term recovery, nurturing the inner self. We offer a safe, alcohol and drug free environment allowing you peace of mind and identification with fellow travellers on the path of sobriety. As part of our retreat program, you can partake in daily workshops, meetings, beach meditation, massage, horse trekking, surfing and kite surfing. Our location is picturesque on the Maharees peninsula in the SouthWest of Ireland. Delicious meals designed for people in recovery are also included. Four day retreat all for 495 euros per person. Our retreats offer support and training to individuals in recovery, and on seperate weekends for families and carers. All retreats offer workshops, daily NA, AA meetings and guided meditation on the beach (weather permitting - this is Ireland after all). All programs of recovery are welcome.



Serenity retreats allow individuals to 'recover' wholeness of mind, body and spirit. We do this by means of a variety of fun, creative workshops, lectures and therapeutic activities. Our retreat houses are set in a place of serene natural beauty. The setting alone exudes the peace and stillness for the rejuvenation of the spirit. Our daily routine offers time alone in self-reflection and also time with other like-minded people.



Families are often adversely affected by a person with addiction issues. Families can also have a powerful impact on the person in recovery, being a source of tremendous support, or a cause of additional stress. To that end, we offer weekend retreats for the adult family members of those in active addiction or in recovery.



Women in recovery often find themselves struggling to find a voice in a man's world. Our women only weekends embrace womanhood, and enable an exploration of key issues pertinent to women.
