Serenity retreats allow individuals to 'recover' wholeness of mind, body and spirit. We do this by means of a variety of fun, creative workshops, lectures and therapeutic activities. Our retreat houses are set in a place of serene natural beauty. The setting alone exudes the peace and stillness for the rejuvenation of the spirit. Our daily routine offers time alone in self-reflection and also time with other like-minded people. Families are often adversely affected by a person with addiction issues. Families can also have a powerful impact on the person in recovery, being a source of tremendous support, or a cause of additional stress. To that end, we offer weekend retreats for the adult family members of those in active addiction or in recovery. Women in recovery often find themselves struggling to find a voice in a man's world. Our women only weekends embrace womanhood, and enable an exploration of key issues pertinent to women.
