Marymade.it goes international with a unique line of Personalized Wedding Cake Toppers

Mary Tempesta, a Polymer Clay Artist who has been modeling polymer clay for 17 years has announced her ambitious plan to serve an international Clientele.

Mary announced her intentions and told her story:

"it all started in 2007 when I decided I would embrace the online world and the Web at http://www.marymade.it/: I don't like being constantly on the move to sell my creations - not always people appreciated my work: producing in large standard quantities wasn't viable either because of the tremendous pressure exerted by middle men and wholesalers that were literally chocking the life out of me. The Web now offers me the opportunity to feature my work and attract only those truly interested in what I have to offer."

"At first I setup shop with some of my creations - I decided a blog would be ideal for me to publish on the web as it is so simple and intuitive to use. It did take some time to get used to and it is very hard work to create, produce, and publish to my blog but I enjoy every minute of it"

"Things suddenly changed in late 2007 when I published a post on a creation I had made for a dear friend - a Wedding Cake Topper. I noticed a sudden increase in traffic and some requests for cake toppers not only for weddings, but also for birthdays and other special occasions: today I create personalized wedding cake toppers mostly in Italy."

"The couple sends me some photos of themselves, and any details they wish to have reproduced for their cake topper: many have their cat or dog, are dressed in work uniforms or with their sport jerseys ... I work out what the composition will look like and send them a cost estimate, and proceed with production."

They remain exactly the same year after year, no change in color, it will always look just like it did on your wedding day and that's one reason why people like them so much."

"My cake toppers are not an exact replica of the people, I have my way of making them look similar - it's my creativity at work!"
