Aug. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Daniel J. Gansle, author of the groundbreaking new book, 2012: Day of Reckoning, guest stars on American Freedom Radio's The Truther Girls on August 11, 2010 from 6-8 PM Eastern to discuss the sudden and abrupt ending of the ancient Mayan Long Count calendar in the year 2012.

During the 2-hour program, Mr. Gansle explains intricate details of ancient Mayan culture including their belief systems, cyclical view of time, use of prophecy and divination, and what the famous Dresden Codex tells us (or doesn't tell us) about the end of the world. He explains what Mayan elders are saying about 2012, and even delves into what the Holy Bible has to say about 2012 and the end times. Last but not least, Mr. Gansle tackles the question of whether we need to begin storing food and seeking shelter, or whether the entire panoply of 2012 doomsday theory is rooted in nothing more than folklore and urban legend.
