Thorndale Doctor Uses New Approach to Create Sustainable Health and Wellness

Aug. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- When most people feel pain, they look for the closest pill or procedure they can find in order to get rid of it.  Dr. Matthew Lapp takes a different approach.  He says that pain really means three things: stop what you’re doing, listen to what your body is telling you, and do something different.  “My mentor, Dr. Donald Epstein, says that if you’re not living the life your were meant to live, it should hurt.”
   
With that in mind, Dr. Lapp practices an advanced form of chiropractic care called Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) in order to help his clients achieve greater levels of wellness.  According to the Association for Network Care:

   Furthermore, NSA is just one component of a new approach to wellness developed by Epstein, called Reorganizational Healing.  In contrast to traditional approaches to disease and injury, dubbed “restorative medicine,” an individual undergoing Reorganizational Healing has an opportunity to transform his or her life and not merely return to where they were before the crisis.  Epstein uses the comparison to a business attempting to “reorganize” following a collapse.  “If you were hired to reorganize a business and instead you restored the company to where it was just before the collapse, you would be fired.”
