InnoVet's Versa DR Achieves Seamless Integration with Infinity Practice Management Software

Aug. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- The DICOM imaging standard was developed to define the rules and guidelines for handling, storing, and transmitting information regarding digital imaging. This integration removes the need for Infinity users to duplicate client entry into multiple systems and reduces the need to look up patients’ medical record information from multiple sources.

Versa DR’s acquisition software, provided by Vieworks or IDC, allows Infinity to generate Modality Worklists entries from a patient’s medical record. This feature automatically populates imaging requests within Versa DR’s user interface and applies the appropriate charges to the client’s invoice.  Upon completion of the image capture, the final digital images can be accessed directly from the patient’s medical record. By facilitating direct access from the practice management system to InnoVet’s image acquisition software, Versa DR streamlines care and improves practice workflow.

A fully integrated digital imaging solution, Versa DR sets a new digital standard in veterinary radiography.
