Catya Maré is a popular, multiple award winning songwriter, violinist and music producer (world / orchestral / Celtic new age / electronica / pop) from Denmark who is now living in Los Angeles, California.

She has performed as a classical violinist since her early childhood (first concert as a soloist with a large symphony orchestra at age 10), held the position of an alternating concertmaster with one of Europe's finest symphony orchestras, Aarhus Symfoni Orkester (DK) and has done numerous performances at international concert halls and major museums of art, such as National Galerie Berlin (Germany) and Kunsthaus Zürich (Switzerland).

Catya Maré started composing / producing her own music in 2005.

She was nominated for the Hollywood Music Award in November 2008 and won the Billboard World Songwriting Contest in February 2009. In November 2009 Catya Maré won the prestigious Hollywood Music in Media Award.

In February 2010 she won 8 Editor´s Choice Awards on one of the leading music licensing sites today, Revostock.
